> Franco Mele and his vision
In 2001 Franco Mele realized with a brilliant intuition that parametric and associative-type algorithms can be used even in the world of Industrial Design.
PTC CREO (ex Pro/ENGINEER) was the tool that more than any other, as from 1992, allowed him, alongside George Sowden, to express himself in modelling “form” at important levels and for prestigious brands.
At the beginning of Parametric Design’s story, the objective was to build up a group of technical and sales staff that could propose this innovative approach to modelling to top flight
companies, by offering them:
> Powerful tools;
> A way to learn how to use them;
> Support for technical and product development process management staff to ensure that there is a return on investment.
After consolidating this goal, the objective of Parametric Design is to help the companies to be more innovative, both now and in the future, with more experts and with a more complete portfolio.
